Steve Brodner, a caricaturist and self-described “equal opportunity insulter,” will discuss the role of political cartoons in a democracy. Brodner’s work offers a concise and passionate assessment of hot-button issues and the players involved in them — going beyond simple drawings to capture the conflicts and emotions of public figures. His work has appeared in major media outlets including Time magazine, The Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times.
